Ethiopian Airlines Group owns the largest hotel in Africa after the completion of the second phase of the Grand Cloud Hotel. 

On May 5, the airline held the grand opening of Phase 2 of the Ethiopian Cloud Sky Hotel, which increased 627 rooms to its total of 1,024. 

Ethiopian Airlines Group invested $155 million in the construction of the second phase of the Grand Cloud Hotel Ethiopia, which also includes meetings and various facilities that can accommodate from small to up to 5,000 guests. It also has 19 restaurants, including Ethiopian, Italian, Arab and Asian restaurants, cafes and bars. 

Cloud Sky Hotel Essegran is just five minutes from Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, a hub for Ethiopian Airlines. 

Ethiopian Airlines expects that the hotel will help tourism authorities have the opportunity to take advantage of the millions of passengers who transit through the airport to Ethiopia each year.
